About Me

Hello World. My name is Gerardo Laracuente, but everyone calls me Gerry. I've had an interest in technology my whole life. When I was a kid, I used to open up electronics and try to figure out how they worked. That curiosity is still alive in me today. I love to understand how things work.

Most of my career has been spent managing data center infrastructure. During the last year, I've been focusing on education to become a stronger engineer. I completed a Full Stack Web Development bootcamp, and I am now undergoing a DevOps Fellowship.

My ultimate goal is to use computer science and engineering to help those most in need in our society.
